The Concept

Cockaigne is a multidisciplinary project that uses gaming as a lens to explore complex themes of reality, virtuality, and cultural identity. The project emerged from the question: how can interactive media help us understand and reinterpret our relationship with history and place?

The Installation

The work manifests as a three-channel video installation that creates an immersive, layered narrative. Each channel presents a different perspective on the same story, inviting viewers to move between screens and construct their own understanding. The installation combines real footage, CGI elements, and gaming aesthetics to blur the boundaries between documentary, fiction, and interactive experience.

Technical Execution

T-NUA Studio handled the 3D environment design, character animation, and motion graphics that bridge the three channels. Our team worked to create visual continuity across the screens while maintaining the unique perspective of each angle. Advanced compositing techniques were used to seamlessly blend recorded elements with 3D-generated content.

Impact & Presentation

Cockaigne has been exhibited in galleries and festivals as a powerful medium for cultural dialogue. The work demonstrates how immersive technology and game-like aesthetics can engage audiences with serious themes in ways traditional media cannot. The installation has resonated with audiences interested in digital art, cultural studies, and the intersection of technology and human experience.
